MIA gave the finger

Rapper MIA is in hot water this week after allegedly giving the middle finger during the Super Bowl halftime.  I say allegedly because no one actually saw the incident, they just read about how offended people were the next day.  I mean, did anyone catch it live?  Oh sure there are photos of the finger, but that doesn't mean it happened.  After all there are photos of JFK getting shot, but IT'S ALL PART OF A GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY, MAN!!!

I thought the whole point of the Janet Jackson fiasco was that we were going to put the game on delay so we could censor offensive incidents.  So why is there even tape of MIA giving the finger?  Instead of blaming MIA, how about blaming the guy responsible for censoring the game?  Where was the censorship guy on that one?  Hey buddy, how about a little less gawking at Nikki Minaj and a little more censoring, thank you very much.

Anyway, some people are upset, but I'm happy about this middle finger.  Why?  Because it firmly divides society into two groups:  the people I can hang out with and the people I can't.  I now know exactly who belongs in which group.  If you don't care about the middle finger, then we can hang out.  If you're offended by the finger, then you're a stiff and I have no use for you.  I'm not saying you're a terrible person, I'm just saying I don't need you around.  With that in mind, I'd like to say thank you to MIA.  You've restored some measure of order to an otherwise chaotic universe.  Some might call you offensive, but you'll forever be a hero to me.
